I like this town says Pierre. From our boutique hotel, a short walk brings him to terrific cinnamon buns!
(Sheila liked this bakery almost as much). Kind of like Ireland's version of Banff, it's loaded with touristy shops, but kind of nicely done.
It has history as well - the Charles and James forts were formidable - until they suffered a 13-day siege from the land side which they hadn't anticipated. The Charles fort held as many as 1200 military and sometimes their families. The fort was extensive!
